# Expert Suggestions:

01 -
  • The combination of sweet baked beans and sharp cheddar creates this incredible salty sweet balance that keeps everyone coming back for more
  • Everything comes together in under 30 minutes making it perfect for those last minute I forgot to plan something moments
  • You can customize the toppings based on whatever is wilting in your crisper drawer right now
02 -
  • Do not skip the parchment paper because baked bean sugars caramelize and stick to baking sheets like concrete
  • Work quickly once the nachos come out of the oven because the difference between hot crispy nachos and sad room temperature nachos is about five minutes
  • Put your fresh toppings on after baking because baking tomatoes and cilantro turns them into this weird mushy situation nobody wants
03 -
  • Use a rimmed baking sheet instead of a flat one so those cheese overflow situations do not end up on your oven floor
  • Let the cheese set for literally one minute after removing from the oven so it does not slide off completely when you add toppings
  • Warm your sour cream slightly for 10 seconds so it drizzles beautifully instead of clumping
